Quebec A Great shopping destination
The city of Quebec has many similarities to the typical cities of Europe in terms of the cobblestone streets, great majestic buildings boasting of Gothic architecture, with the Old City even designated as a UNESCO recognized World Heritage Site. It is this cultural heritage of Quebec that has been talked about all around the world and reflected in many of the excellent museums and churches in the city.

However, the one thing that most tourists would not like to miss out when they are in Quebec is shopping. The city does teem with malls offering everything from boutique items to novelties and other souvenir articles. It is the Vieux Port area or the Old Port that is the commercial hot spot in Quebec and some of the more famous malls include the Place Sainte-Foy, Place Fleur de Lys and the Laurier Quebec.

Besides shopping, the many fine dining places in the city have a variety of culinary delights on offer. You can take a relaxed walk around the city taking in the museum, churches and the art galleries while stopping now and then to grab a quick bite or enjoy a full fledged meal at these restaurants.

As a bustling city, the night life is equally vibrant. You will find the clubs and pubs crowded with young people dancing away their blues. One favorite spot for youngsters is the Chez Dagobert given its capacity to host live music and dance shows.

As a stark contrast to the typical urban set up of a busy holiday destination like Quebec, the island of Anguilla offers an option that is wonderfully different. After all, why would you go for a vacation to another busy city like ambience, even if it is as good as Quebec, when all you want to do is get away from the hustle and bustle of city life?

Well, Anguilla has the answer. This island in the Caribbean boasts of attributes that are a perennial favorite with anybody looking for an idyllic holiday spot. Anguilla is not crowded, has good bright and sunny weather most of the year and has very warm denizens who enjoy the company of tourists.

Perhaps its greatest feature as a holiday destination is the thirty three beaches. You can spend quality time at these beaches while savoring the unique and special gastronomic delights at the beach cafes and bars bordering these beaches. These range from exotic seafood varieties such as lobster, crayfish to the exclusive rum punches that this island is very famous for. As you enjoy the cool and pure water, you can also explore the island on foot. At night, the beachfront dining experience is something you can never get at any of the other popular holiday destinations. Anguilla has been able to maintain its low-key profile over the years and the result is that you have a pollution free atmosphere.

Do not be surprised to find celebrities surfing the sand next to you. Anguilla has indeed become a very preferred destination for many of the celebrities to just come here and get lost in the crowd.

So skip other destinations and head towards Anguilla. You owe your self a wonderful vacation that is different and exotic.
