Drak is one of the most popular recording artists in the Eastern Caribbean countries of Anguilla and St. Martin. The concept behind "Throw In the Towel" is that an athlete needs to train hard to keep up with his female counterparts at the dancehall. Meanwhile Drak's pulsating soca rhythm and fast paced lyrics provide the soundtrack and the motivation to keep going no matter what and never throw in the towel.
This video was shot in Anguilla, British West Indies over the course of four days. Due to logistical constraints we used only one or two lights for most of the scenes and shot the athlete scenes as a separate movie (Super Floyd) that we then edited with the rest of the scenes in music video. It was a challenge putting it all together in a way that made sense but we made it happen and the captivating result speaks for itself.
