Lead singer Michael Maidwell had this to say to reporters covering its release: "It's our cutest song, especially made for the ladies. We wanted to put an even cuter clip behind it. It's the story of a lion who is too friendly and thus always puts himself second, even when it comes to going after that which he cares most about".

Bio

"FEEL THAT FIRE" the video will be released this coming Thursday (July 15th) on YouTube!!.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. now on to a little bio.. .. .. .... Orange Grove was started in 2001 on the island of Sint Maarten (The West Indies). Their name also comes from an area on the island in the Cole Bay district. After the band moved to Holland things picked up suddenly and with new members all coming from different parts of the Caribbean (Aruba, Curacao, Surinam and Sint Maarten) a new strong and dedicated group was born. On February the 9th of 2007, after 7 months in the studio, Orange Grove proudly released their debut album titled ..Genuine Origins' in a sold-out Paard van Troje in The Hague. It was a monumental event with members of Intwine and Splendid accompanying them on stage. ..
  • .. .. Orange Grove has always had a good live reputation and thus the idea was born to do a live album so they could let their fans take home a little bit of the experience from an Orange Grove show. The Album ..Some live stuff' was a (semi) acoustic album since at the same time they were busy with their acoustic shows the "Sessions on the Coast". Orange Grove wanted to remain an independent band with control over their future, but with the success picking up the need for more attention in that area increased. End of 2008 Orange Grove hired MOvE to take care of the business aspects of their company. Orange Grove sees that a solid show and album is pre conditional for success but to make that success sustainable and more international you need also to be a reliable counterpart for you business-partners. Orange Grove has a long-term strategy in which their fans are the centerpiece. They are steadily building their fan-base all over the world. In 2009 they more than doubled the number of registered fans and added fans from many different countries. A brand new exciting chapter has begun lately with the release of their second studio album "Fingerprint". The name was inspired by the idea to allow a number of their devoted fans to send in their scanned fingerprints which were then added into the album's artwork. Since its release in June 2009 in Holland, where the band is based, it has gotten many great reviews in most of the big publications throughout the country. More importantly, the reactions from their fans have been genuinely positive! .. Orange Grove's music is over_owing with positive energy and feel-good vibes, as is typical of course with most good reggae. Do not be mistaken in thinking this is just merely more of the same from the reggae genre. Orange Grove has developed their own unique sound and by crossing over from reggae to many other styles like Hiphop, Zouk, Rock and Soca they have managed to create a style that is di_cult to simply classify under one genre. From their _rst demo recordings OG has been spreading their sounds all over the globe. In total their songs have been downloaded over 1 million times and it only keeps getting better! They have been receiving emails and letters from fans from the Caribbean to Indonesia to California. It seems as long as Orange Grove is making music, there are many people out there who will want to hear it! ... ...... .. Michael Maidwell, lead-singer and founder of the group, has this to say about their new album: "Fingerprint is feeling like the album we had been dreaming of for a long time. It feels like we have put down a true OG fingerprint with this one. The songs on the album have added a great deal to the live show as well and it has become obvious that we have taken a huge step in the right direction with this record.".. .. With Fingerprint, the band has stepped over into more mainstream waters. The reggae elements, as well as some other Caribbean styles, are still very present in the music but now the band has taken on more of a rock-pop approach. Michael adds: "It just came naturally. Everybody in the band has different musical preferences but is still very open-minded. The songs on Fingerprint came from many different corners of OG and no two songs on the album are alike". Radio stations around the globe have been playing their songs for years and by doing so have helped spread their sound to places on earth where no band-member has set foot before. And these are all well-traveled guys!.. ..Michael, Jacob, Quincell, Eric and Danny create a fun-loving vibe and a positive sound, with conscious lyrics, making both their recordings as well as their live shows of premium quality. With a strong and devoted team behind them they have embarked on a journey which they hope takes them to stages their music icons have all stood on before... .. ....www.orangegrove.nl...... ..Orange Grove is:.. .. .. ..Eric Spring pon drums.. ..                                   Quincell "the Bassment" Adolphin; pon bass.. ....                 Danny "dannic the pannic" Fuljhari pon di geetah.. ....                                                        Michael Maidwell pon de mic.. ..Jacob Streefkerk pon de geetah.. .. .. .. ..
